ATV/Motorcyle/Side-by-Side/Off-Road Vehicle Regulations: Because of serious accidents in other communities, the State of Utah has tightened its regulation on all off-road type vehicles in 2024. State law supersedes any Clarkston law in this case. The Police gave out warnings last year but they will be issuing citations this year.  State code 41-1a-102 contains the definition of different types of vehicles included in these revisions. Mainly, all vehicles need to be licensed, registered and insured, and all drivers need to be licensed to drive on the street.
